Why I trained with Renu Arora & what ART changed for me

AND WHAT ART CHANGED FOR ME

This is a personal piece. I'm writing it not as marketing but as an honest account of how I came to this work, because I think context matters. You're deciding whether to trust someone with something important. You deserve to know how they got here.

For over 25 years, I struggled with chronic ill-health and food allergies that no one could explain.

I saw doctors across multiple countries. I saw specialists. I tried conventional approaches and unconventional ones. The answer was always some version of the same thing: manage it, avoid the triggers, learn to live with it.

I did. Because I had to. But I never stopped believing there was something underneath it that no one had been able to reach.

A chance meeting

In September 2025, I met Renu Arora, the creator of the Accelerated Release Technique, at what was described to me as a brief demonstration session.

I want to be precise about what happened next, because I know how it sounds.

My allergies were healed in that session.

Not reduced. Not managed differently. Not temporarily improved. Healed. I have not had an allergic response since, something that had not been the case since around 1998.

I am a person who has always been drawn to energy work, who has understood intellectually for years that the body holds what the mind can't process. But there is a significant difference between understanding something and experiencing it in your own body, after 25 years of searching for it.

That session made Wayfairer inevitable.

What drew me to ART specifically

I've been interested in energy and the unseen world for as long as I can remember. As a teenager, I was clairvoyant, clairaudient, and clairtangent, gifts I set aside in my twenties, trying to fit into a world that didn't have much space for them, and have since reclaimed.

So energy work wasn't new to me. What was new was the structure of what Renu had built.

ART isn't a practice that relies on the practitioner's intuitive gifts, though those can be present and useful. It's a methodology. A repeatable, teachable, consistent process for accessing and releasing the subconscious root of what's generating distress. Renu approached it like a scientist: testing, refining, eliminating what was unreliable, building something that works not because the practitioner is exceptional but because the technique is sound.

That rigour matters to me. I'm a high-D personality, direct, results-focused, and not inclined to accept "it just works" as a sufficient explanation. ART gave me the explanation alongside the result. That's rare.

What the training was like

Renu works with a maximum of six students per cohort. This isn't a marketing decision; it's because the work requires that level of attention. You can't learn ART at scale. You have to practise it, have it practised on you, sit with the discomfort of not knowing what you're doing yet, and be supervised through the moments when the process goes somewhere unexpected.

What I experienced in that training, both as a student and as a person being worked on, was exactly what I'd been looking for. Things I had been carrying for a very long time were released. I won't be specific about what, because that's not the point. The point is that I know from the inside what this work does. I'm not describing something I've observed. I'm describing something I've lived.

I'm also a certified DiSC facilitator, which means I understand how different people are wired, how they make decisions, and how to adapt my approach accordingly. That training runs quietly underneath every session, informing how I hold the conversation before we get anywhere near the subconscious work.

Why I wanted to bring it to Australia

When I realised there were no ART practitioners in Australia, or anywhere in the Southern Hemisphere, it wasn't primarily a business calculation. It was more like: of course. Of course this needs to exist here.

There is a particular kind of person in Australia, and online, globally, who has done the work, is deeply invested in their own development, and is still looking for the thing that gets to the bottom of it. Not the thing that helps them understand themselves better. The thing that actually shifts something.

That's who ART is for. That's who I built Wayfairer for. Because I was that person too, for 25 years, and I know what it feels like to finally find the thing that works.

What's different now

My sessions are different from what they were before ART. The integration of the technique with my background in coaching and behavioural change creates something I haven't found described anywhere else, work that can reach the subconscious root, release it, and then move immediately into what forward looks like from here.

Not just healing. Not just strategy. Both, in the same session.

That's what I trained for. That's what the work is.

If you're curious about whether ART might be right for you, I'd love to have a conversation. Book a free discovery call.
